Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the overall application lifecycle. You engage in planning activities that integrate various system components, ensuring seamless delivery and maintaining high standards of quality. Your role includes continuous testing efforts focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression, alongside developing and executing automation strategies. You actively participate in reviewing code, tracking issues, and contributing to ongoing improvements that support the robustness and reliability of software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams for prompt resolution.
  • Support environment setup and data configuration to facilitate accurate and effective testing.
  • Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on quality engineering practices.


Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Good To Have Skills: Business Requirements Analysis.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Ability to perform security testing and API testing within complex application environments.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to support quality improvement initiatives.


Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
