We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Assistant for our retail location. As a Store Assistant, your primary goal will be to ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries, maintaining the presentation of the store, and supporting the store management team with inventory and merchandising tasks. This role requires a friendly attitude and an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base. Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing information on products and services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store environment daily.
• Assist in restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are attractive.
• Handle customer transactions efficiently, including cash and credit card payments.
• Provide support for inventory management and stock level monitoring.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Participate in making reports to track sales and inventory metrics.
• Help in processing shipments and organizing backroom stock areas.
• Assist with opening and closing store procedures as needed.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer queries.
• Support promotional events to engage and attract customers into the store.
• Collaborate with team members to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic proficiency in operating retail POS systems and related technology.
• Team-oriented mindset with the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
