Job Description

A Counter Sales Executive is responsible for facilitating sales at the counter by engaging with customers and providing them with excellent service. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
  • Manage customer inquiries and swiftly address their sales or product questions.
  • Process sales transactions promptly while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Build customer relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Maintain an attractive and organized counter area that facilitates sales.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed to ensure product availability.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and benefits.
  • Operate cash registers and ensure accurate end-of-day financial balance.
  • Gather and assess customer feedback to improve service and product selection.
  • Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on product use and care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in a retail or sales environment will be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage and assist customers.
  • Proficiency in operating sales systems and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused attitude with the capability to handle inquiries professionally.
  • Flexibility to work fluctuating hours, including weekends and holidays.
