The role of an SEO Marketing Manager is pivotal in increasing a company's visibility in search engines to drive more traffic and engagement with content. As an SEO Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing and executing the organization's overall SEO strategy to improve search engine visibility and online performance. This entails conducting keyword research, implementing content optimization strategies, building backlinks, and working closely with the content and editorial teams to ensure digital content is effectively optimized for best search results. With the rapid evolution of search engine algorithms, you will need to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in online search rankings. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic SEO marketing plans and initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive research and keyword analysis regularly to guide strategy.
  • Oversee a continuous audit process to monitor site's search health and performance.
  • Collaborate with content creators to plan SEO-oriented content effectively.
  • Analyze website analytics reports to gauge traffic, goals, and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes in search engines.
  • Create high-quality backlinks through genuine outreach and creative strategies.
  • Implement best practices for technical SEO to improve website indexation.
  • Manage and optimize on-page SEO factors, including but not limited to URL, meta tags, and headers.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports to demonstrate the performance of SEO projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive overall online marketing strategy.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to develop their SEO skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SEO and marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors is essential.
  • Experience with industry-standard SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful SEO strategies and campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret web analytics and apply insights accordingly.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with various team members and external partners.
