Performance Tester 10N25

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Tester to join our dynamic IT team. As a Performance Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our applications are reliable, efficient, and scalable under load. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing performance tests, and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with development, QA, and product teams to diagnose and fix performance bottlenecks across our distributed systems. The ideal candidate is adept in utilizing testing tools, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses excellent analytical skills to interpret performance data. Your contributions will ensure that our high-quality software products meet the demands of technology and performance expectations in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop performance test plans, cases, and scripts to verify application capabilities.
• Execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests on various software applications.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve these issues.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Analyze test results and metrics to provide detailed performance recommendations and reports.
• Create detailed documentation for test designs, strategies, and protocols related to performance testing.
• Utilize performance testing tools to automate the execution of performance testing processes.
• Monitor production environments to proactively identify areas for performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain best practices for performance engineering and testing activities.
• Participate in performance tuning activities to improve software efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure testing processes comply with industry standards and quality assurance procedures.
• Continuously update skill sets to include advances in performance testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Performance Tester or similar role, with strong debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages for test script development.
• Strong understanding of open-source performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience with performance monitoring and diagnostics tools in an enterprise environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex performance-related issues.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
