Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring the efficient and timely transportation and delivery of goods. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Working in coordination with other departments, the Logistics Coordinator ensures that all shipments are processed and documented correctly, maintaining communication with vendors and internal teams, and optimizing procedures to enhance our supply chain efficiency. This role is crucial in managing the inventory levels and meeting delivery requirements set by clients, thereby enhancing the overall productivity and responsiveness of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Utilize logistics software to optimize shipping and transportation processes.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers for order management.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational issues with logistics support.
  • Monitor product stock levels and place orders in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of shipping activities.
  • Manage logistics personnel to maintain high-performance standards.
  • Implement improvements in efficiency and safety protocols for logistics.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to effectively integrate logistics software.
  • Conduct cost analysis to achieve budget objectives and financial efficiency.
  • Maintain regular updates and status reports on logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar position.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
