Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
• Collaborate with senior editors to create broadcast-quality video content.
• Trim video segments and sequence them logically and seamlessly.
• Insert closed captioning, graphics, or other necessary onscreen text.
• Research and gather relevant materials needed for video editing projects.
• Organize video assets and maintain a digital media library efficiently.
• Ensure all video content is prepared for final distribution on multiple platforms.
• Assist in the brainstorming of creative concepts and storyboarding sessions.
• Stay up-to-date with video editing software advancements and industry trends.
• Complete video editing tasks within deadlines without compromising quality.
• Actively participate in post-production processes including feedback and revision cycles.
• Maintain archive of completed media projects for future reference and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Basic knowledge of graphics software like Adobe After Effects is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• A good understanding of video formats and file management is important.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
