Job Description

An IT Project Manager is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within an organization. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, interfacing with key stakeholders, and ensuring that all project objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget. The IT Project Manager ensures that project goals align with the strategic direction of the company, managing resources effectively to achieve optimal outcomes. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, combined with a deep understanding of technology and business processes. Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Facilitate the definition of project tasks and resource allocation.
  • Lead and direct the work of technical teams and project staff.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed for swift resolution.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and disruptions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills are essential.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • PMP certification is a significant plus, though not mandatory.
