Job Description

The IT Manager is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of our technology systems and infrastructure. As our IT Manager, you will lead a team of IT professionals to ensure that the company's IT operations run smoothly and align with the goals of the organization. Your strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the IT department's success and supporting the overall business objectives. In this role, you will manage IT resources, plan and execute IT projects, support system upgrades, and maintain cybersecurity measures. You will also collaborate with other departments to enhance overall technology efficiency and ensure that the IT framework adapts to the changing needs of the organization. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing technology usage, reducing downtime, and enhancing productivity across the company.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire IT department and its staff effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for information technology and security.
  • Ensure the company’s IT policy aligns with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Plan and execute IT infrastructure upgrades and expansions as necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s cybersecurity measures to protect data integrity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address their IT needs and requirements.
  • Manage the IT budget, including identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide leadership during IT projects, ensuring timely and within budget completion.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Conduct regular audits of IT systems and operations to identify improvement areas.
  • Train and mentor IT staff to enhance their skills and professional growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on IT department status, issues, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in IT management or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems management, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading IT teams efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
