Job Description

The role of an F&B Service Expert is integral to creating exceptional dining experiences in the hospitality industry. Your expertise will significantly contribute to ensuring that guests receive impeccable service while enjoying their meals. As an F&B Service Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the day-to-day operations of food and beverage services. You will engage with guests, ensuring that all their dining requirements are met with precision and friendliness. This position requires a keen eye for detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to different situations seamlessly. You will be the face of the establishment, advocating for customer satisfaction through efficiency and charm.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest quality service through the effective supervision of dining services.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and potential allergens.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and new hires in the F&B department.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Manage and oversee inventory, ensuring all supplies are stocked and accounted for.
  • Collaborate with management to develop policies and procedures for improved service.
  • Organize and oversee special events, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas and equipment for cleanliness and safety.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience with personalized service.
  • Monitor feedback and suggest service improvements based on guest recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of F&B service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an F&B service role or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
  • Experience in staff management and leadership in a fast-paced setting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
