Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a pivotal role in the hospitality and service industry, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets. This position requires an individual who is leadership-oriented, customer-centric, and possesses a keen eye for detail. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure exceptional service to guests while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in food preparation and presentation. You will be charged with training and guiding staff, managing inventory, and collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience. The role also involves understanding customer feedback, resolving complaints, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of food and beverage outlets efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and quality food delivery.
  • Train, develop, and mentor food and beverage staff to optimize performance.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and order supplies as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints with a focus on guest satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and policies.
  • Manage staff scheduling, shifts, and attendance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with the management team to execute promotional activities and events.
  • Analyze guest feedback and create action plans to address any issues or opportunities.
  • Maintain and improve service standards through regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and service.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a motivational and team-oriented approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial principles of cost control.
