As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of various civil engineering projects, responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction operations. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. Your expertise in civil engineering principles, combined with your leadership skills, will play a crucial role in executing innovative and sustainable solutions for infrastructure development. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, optimizing project designs, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and designs that meet client specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineering specialists in project planning phases.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations for project viability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all project stages.
• Oversee construction activities, schedules, and budgets to maintain project timelines.
• Manage and resolve technical issues encountered during the construction process.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders and clients.
• Optimize project designs for cost-effectiveness and efficiency improvements.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members and external contractors.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for accuracy.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure project deliverables meet specified requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in managing and executing large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in using civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD and 12D Model.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills for multidiscipline teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or an equivalent certification is preferred.
