Industrial Maintenance Engineer

As an Industrial Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of industrial machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues, performing routine maintenance, and working collaboratively with a team to implement best practices in equipment management. Your expertise will prevent costly downtime and enhance productivity within the facility. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions in equipment promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed on equipment.
• Purchase and manage inventory of necessary repair parts and tools.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior maintenance staff and apprentices.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance services when required.
• Analyze and improve maintenance processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct training sessions to educate staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure rapid resolution to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
