Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers in a warm and friendly manner.
• Present menus and offer detailed descriptions of menu items.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using order slips or a tablet.
• Relay orders to kitchen and bar staff in a timely fashion.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery.
• Check in with guests to ensure their dining satisfaction.
• Handle payment transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Clear and clean tables after customers have finished dining.
• Address and escalate customer complaints to management when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, promotions, and restaurant events.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other servers for smooth operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen ability to maintain order accuracy.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines is a plus.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
