The key responsibility of this role is to measure, examine, and test one or more characteristics of a product and the compare with pre-determined specifications to determine conformity.

Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:

  • Develops and implements quality control strategies and procedures.
  • Prepare activity and progress reports so recurring problems, either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures, can be identified and addressed.
  • Testing of the production batches to ensure the products are manufactured as per Hempel RD procedures and instruction within specification.
  • Correction to production batches to adjust the color to match with Hempel and international standard
  • Adjust the color of the batches within agreed shots to maintain RFT and batch cycle time.
  • Record and report deviated and defective batches to the reporting manager.
  • Maintain the records of approved production batches in largo match as per Hempel std for future reference.
  • To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company HSE policy.
  • Maintain 6S in laboratory retain sample room and tinting paste using area.

The role will be based in Sharjah (UAE) and will report to the Laboratory Manager.

Furthermore, we expect that you have

  • Diploma in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry will be an added advantage
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience preferred within Paint/Chemical industry
  • Should have English proficiency - Speak, Read & Write
