Job Description
- Oversee and administer warehouse operations, utilizing inventory management systems/software to maintain
accurate stock records, monitor minimum and maximum stock levels, and prepare timely purchase
requisitions to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain a comprehensive and secure filing system for all critical store documents, including Store Receipt
Vouchers (SRV), Store Issue Vouchers (SIV), receipts, records, cost containment data, and warranty
documentation.
- Prepare regular reports, statistics, and analyses on stock levels, material availability, consumption rates, and
inventory status to support informed decision-making by management.
- Receive and rigorously inspect all incoming materials, equipment, and supplies against purchase orders for
quantity, quality, and specification accuracy upon delivery from providers.
- Oversee the scheduled delivery of merchandise and coordinate special/urgent deliveries. Communicate the
necessary details to relevant end-user departments and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
and confirm that the correct items have been received by the end-user.
- Perform essential stock-related duties, including sorting, organizing, packing, labeling, and shelving supplies
in designated locations to maximize efficiency and minimize damage.
- Safely operate simple office machines, computer-assisted inventory systems, and material handling
equipment, which may include automotive equipment, a forklift, or other light machinery used for moving
heavy or bulky items.
- Ensure that all established Health and Safety standards, policies, and procedures are rigorously implemented
within the warehouse and storage areas at all times.
- Immediately report any matters of concern related to safety, equipment malfunction, or security breaches to
the Line Manager and/or relevant HSE personnel to ensure prompt and appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Complete any other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager in the concerned college/department
within the expected time limit.
Skills
▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, in both
Arabic and English.
▪ Excellent working knowledge of personal computer applications with an emphasis on MS Office applications
such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
▪ Knowledge of storekeeping and inventory control procedures, recordkeeping and other clerical procedures.
▪ Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
▪ Attention to detail.
▪ Good physical form and ability to carry heavy items
