Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service, and driving sales and profitability to achieve company goals. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, optimizing store layout, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. A Store Manager must possess strong leadership skills to develop and mentor a high-performing team und the ability to analyze sales trends and implement strategies for improvement. The position also requires maintaining a strong presence on the sales floor and resolving any escalations or customer complaints efficiently. The Store Manager acts as a key decision-maker, representing the brand and setting the tone for the store's environment.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficient and effective functioning at all times.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor store staff to achieve desired performance outcomes.
  • Create a welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere in the store environment.
  • Set sales goals for staff and strategize ways to increase overall store sales.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to fulfill stock demands.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and manage all financial transactions efficiently.
  • Analyze sales trends to identify opportunities and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to execute promotional events and in-store campaigns.
  • Utilize technology and store software to optimize operations and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to analyze data, including financial and sales reports, to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed by the business.
