Job Description
SearchPlus HR is seeking qualified and experienced Pathologists to join leading healthcare facilities in the UAE. This opportunity is suitable for internationally trained specialists with recognised postgraduate qualifications and experience in diagnostic pathology, laboratory medicine, and the interpretation of pathological findings.
The successful candidate will contribute to accurate diagnosis and patient management through high-quality laboratory services, histopathological assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Examine and interpret tissue samples, biopsies, and surgical specimens to establish accurate diagnoses.
Review cytology specimens, blood films, and other pathological samples according to the relevant subspecialty.
Perform or oversee histopathological, cytopathological, and other diagnostic investigations within the scope of practice.
Interpret laboratory results and prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports for treating physicians.
Provide specialist consultation on complex diagnostic cases and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings.
Ensure quality assurance, laboratory safety, and compliance with established diagnostic standards.
Collaborate with laboratory scientists, oncologists, surgeons, and other medical specialists.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of clinically significant findings.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development.
Support the implementation of evidence-based diagnostic protocols and laboratory best practices.
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
Recognised postgraduate specialist qualification in Pathology, Anatomical Pathology, Histopathology, or an applicable pathology subspecialty.
Western specialist qualifications, such as UK CCT, American Board Certification, or an equivalent recognised qualification, are preferred.
Relevant clinical and diagnostic experience in the appropriate pathology specialty.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and report-writing skills.
Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
Eligibility for professional licensing in the UAE, subject to the relevant health authoritys qualification and experience requirements.
