Solutions Engineer Engineering

Job Purpose

This role bridges aviation engineering operations and IT, ensuring AMOS supports maintenance planning, airworthiness compliance, and technical records accuracy

Key Result Responsibilities

• Serves as a focal point for all Engineering Systems end-users for any queries, errors and/or clarification required. Responds to all queries and resolves any issues raised and filters those which require escalation to Vendor’s Support.
• Performs necessary setup and supports deployment of Engineering Systems for any new AOC in Air Arabia Group.
• Partners with all internal stakeholders to develop processes in line with the business needs and in accordance with agreed requirements.
• Monitor the system for any malfunction and identify the source of the error. Initiate the troubleshooting and escalate to developer/other ISA sections as required. Implement interim fix if required. Test and deploy the permanent fix when available.
• Designs and ensures the detailed documentation for AMOS parameters setup, workflows configuration and interfaces configuration as implemented and any further changes derived from changes in the business processes
• Follows up thoroughly with Vendor’s Support for resolution of errors with contractual SLA to ensure optimizing contractual benefits
• Evaluates and assesses all new application releases for additional functions / process changes and makes sure internal processes and procedures are aligned.
• Identify data and interfaces errors through data validation and monitoring of AMOS system generated or user reported errors. Collaborate with AMOS and Technical Records teams for timely correction of data in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Collaborate with the application vendor for application upgrades and improvements as required for business needs
• Test the updated application and all interfaces for any bugs/errors. Ensures new releases are tested by key users, feedback is received, documented and any issues are resolved within contractual time frame.
• Fully responsible for the maintenance of the user database across all Engineering Systems. Ensure new accounts are created and existing accounts are updated with current approval scope/ access rights as required.
• Supports business with system definition and data migration for any new aircraft type or new aircraft joining the fleet.
• Evaluates any new business requirements and establishes the way of fulfilling either in existing systems or by implementation new solutions.
  
  

Work Experience

3–8+ years’ experience in airline or MRO technical systems

Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance processes

Experience in ETLB, Flydocs, Aviatar and Avilytics

Knowledge of Part CAMO / Part 145 environments

Hands-on experience with AMOS configuration and support

Understanding of data migration and system upgrades

Experience with AMOS modules for planning, technical records, and materials

Ability to troubleshoot functional and data issues in AMOS
