Job Description

The Sharakah Program Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination, administration, and day-to-day management of the Sharakah Program at American University of Sharjah (AUS). The position serves as a key liaison between AUS and Sharakah partner schools, supporting the development and implementation of student engagement initiatives, school outreach activities, events, competitions, workshops, and scholarship-related activities.

The position coordinates closely with internal AUS departments and external stakeholders to ensure the successful planning and delivery of Sharakah activities, while strengthening relationships with partner schools and supporting student recruitment and enrollment objectives. The coordinator also provides operational and administrative support to the Office of Enrollment Management and contributes to strategic initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of AUS among prospective students, parents, school counselors, and educators.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer the day-to-day operations of the Sharakah Program.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sharakah partner schools, principals, and counselors.
  • Coordinate school visits, student engagement activities, workshops, competitions, fairs, and other program initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for Sharakah and Enrollment Management events and activities.
  • Liaise with internal AUS departments and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of program activities.
  • Coordinate communications, invitations, announcements, and follow-ups with partner schools and participants.
  • Maintain accurate records of schools, contacts, activities, participation, and student leads.
  • Monitor program activities and prepare reports, statistics, and updates for management.
  • Assist with program materials, promotional items, procurement, invoices, and other administrative requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen school engagement and expand the reach and impact of the Sharakah Program.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic institution.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, schools, and university stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with databases, online forms, and event registration systems.
