Job Description

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer experience at our service center. Your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming and professional environment while effectively managing customer inquiries and service requests. By communicating with customers, you will ascertain their needs and convey these details accurately to our automotive technicians. Building strong relationships with both customers and team members is crucial in delivering a seamless service. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the service center.
  • Understand and assess customers' automotive service needs accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate service recommendations and options to customers in a clear manner.
  • Coordinate with automotive technicians to relay customer concerns for resolution.
  • Maintain and update service records and documentation for all customer interactions.
  • Ensure all work is completed to customers' satisfaction and follow up as needed.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirm customer bookings through various channels.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure problems are resolved quickly and satisfactorily.
  • Provide knowledgeable and courteous answers to customer questions and inquiries.
  • Promote additional services and products to enhance the customer’s experience.
  • Monitor inventory of parts and supplies, coordinating orders with the parts department.
  • Stay updated on automotive industry trends and apply knowledge to improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer service role.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including CRM applications.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary for this position.
