Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic automotive service team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary liaison between our customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients. Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with their automotive service inquiries and needs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to accurately identify service requirements.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services and repair options to customers.
  • Prepare and provide accurate cost estimates for automotive service and repairs.
  • Coordinate scheduling of service appointments and manage service calendar efficiently.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers throughout their vehicle’s service process.
  • Consult with technicians to ensure seamless execution of scheduled services.
  • Monitor the progress of service work and update customers with any changes.
  • Handle customer complaints tactfully and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed records of service transactions and customer interactions for future reference.
  • Promote additional services and parts to enhance vehicle performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in the service department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive services, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and technicians.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Customer-centric attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service experiences.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and automotive service management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for this role.
