WSP in the Midde East are seeking a Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) to lead electrical design delivery in the UAE. This role is central to our expertise in power distribution, lighting, automation, and sustainable electrical systems for high-profile developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design packages for complex building services projects.
• Oversee power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and UPS systems.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, BS, and UAE authority requirements.
• Drive sustainable electrical solutions including renewable energy integration.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables.
• Support project delivery from concept to commissioning.
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• 10–15 years of electrical building services design experience, with at least 5 years in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of regional codes and authority approvals.
• Proven leadership in managing design teams.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
