Job Description

The role of a Senior Merchandising Officer - Electronics is pivotal in driving the success of our electronics segment through strategic product selection, pricing, and promotion. The candidate will oversee the merchandising strategy, ensuring an optimal mix of products that meet consumer demands and preferences, while maximizing profitability. With a strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior, the Senior Merchandising Officer will collaborate closely with various departments, including procurement, sales, and marketing, to align tactics with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, foresight in market trend forecasting, and possess strong negotiation and communication abilities to manage vendor relationships effectively. Experience in electronic product merchandising and a proven track record of achieving sales targets are essential.


Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in electronic product merchandising.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful merchandising strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and capability to interpret market data.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on cost-effective procurement.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of merchandising professionals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of consumer electronics market trends.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams for aligned objectives.
