Responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design projects from conception through to completion.
• Work directly with clients to develop design concepts tailored to their needs.
• Prepare detailed plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on design specifications.
• Ensure all projects adhere to applicable building codes and regulations.
• Oversee and mentor junior design staff, providing guidance and feedback.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Research and source furniture, materials, and decor that align with design objectives.
• Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure projects are completed within specifications.
• Keep abreast of current design trends and technologies to inform creative solutions.
• Coordinate with project management to handle any issues or changes in project scope.
• Present design proposals to clients, using strong communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of professional interior design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a design team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
