Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept phases through to execution and delivery.
• Develop and present design concepts that align with client needs and project goals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure project deadlines and budgets.
• Mentor and guide junior and intermediate interior designers in professional development.
• Review and approve designs, including layouts, sketches, and material selections.
• Maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets to optimize project costs efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients to update them on project progress and changes.
• Stay current on design trends, materials, and techniques to bring innovation to projects.
• Source and procure furniture, art, and accessories that complement design aesthetics.
• Ensure all aspects of design meet regulatory codes and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure quality control of design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in an interior design role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury and functional interior design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to manage design teams.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
