Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with overseeing and managing the financial operations and strategic planning to ensure the company's financial health and growth. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Develop strategic plans and actionable financial strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Lead the annual budget process and monitor compliance and performance metrics.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and risk factors.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans and projections.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage the audit process and coordinate with external auditors to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee cash flow management and financial risk assessment for informed decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance management within corporate settings.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and procedures.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for strategic decision making.
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • MBA or CPA certification is highly desirable to demonstrate expertise.
