The Senior Associate – Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is a crucial role within our organization responsible for ensuring cohesion and efficiency in our S&OP processes. This position requires a professional who can effectively connect sales, production, and supply chain teams to optimize performance and improve business operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills to drive our S&OP processes, support strategic planning, and address any cross-functional challenges. This role demands a high degree of collaboration, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of sales and operational planning methodologies. As a Senior Associate, you will play a vital role in aligning business units to achieve optimal inventory levels, customer service, and business profitability.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead monthly S&OP meetings to align business objectives.
  • Analyze sales forecasts and historical sales data for accurate demand planning.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory and production plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce forecast inaccuracies and inefficiencies.
  • Maintain strong communications between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
  • Evaluate S&OP performance metrics and create reports for senior management review.
  • Facilitate the resolution of supply and demand imbalances effectively and timely.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in S&OP workflows.
  • Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in S&OP processes and tools.
  • Develop comprehensive short-term and long-term S&OP plans to meet business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and S&OP best practices consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in S&OP or related roles required.
  • Proficient in SAP, Oracle, or other S&OP and demand planning tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in leading projects and driving process improvements effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proven track record of aligning operations with sales and financial objectives.
