Position Summary
The role is responsible for driving business growth by managing the complete sales cycle—right from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and ensuring post-sales success. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to provide tailored solutions, strengthen customer relationships, and consistently achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
• Identify potential customers through inbound and outbound channels.
• Leverage marketing campaigns, industry events, referrals, and digital outreach.
• Maintain pipeline visibility using CRM and sales automation tools.
2. Lead Qualification
• Evaluate prospects using BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or similar frameworks.
• Prioritize high-potential leads for targeted follow-up and conversion.
3. Needs Analysis & Categorization
• Conduct detailed requirement-gathering sessions with prospects.
• Classify needs into essential (must-have), performance (good-to-have), and delight (value-add).
• Prioritize requirements based on customer impact, urgency, and business value.
4. Proposal & Solution Presentation
• Create customized proposals addressing customer needs.
• Articulate value proposition, ROI, and solution benefits persuasively.
• Handle queries and concerns through consultative engagement.
5. Negotiation & Objection Handling
• Lead discussions on pricing, terms, and solution implementation.
• Manage competitive objections and minimize risks for clients.
• Apply structured negotiation strategies to achieve win-win outcomes.
6. Sales Closure
• Drive deals to closure with necessary approvals and contract execution.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and delivery teams for seamless handover.
• Ensure timely payments and revenue realization.
7. Post-Sales Engagement & Customer Success
• Oversee smooth onboarding and transition to delivery/operations teams.
• Maintain strong relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
8. Reporting & Collaboration
• Regularly update CRM with accurate sales pipeline information.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and delivery teams to meet customer commitments.
• Provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts and MIS reports to management.
