Job Description

The role of a Sales Executive in the Building Materials industry is pivotal in fostering relationships with clients and driving revenue growth. As a key player in the sales team, you will be responsible for promoting, and selling a range of building materials to both new and existing clients. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively propose solutions that meet the needs of construction companies, contractors, and distributors. You will be coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and management of client expectations. This dynamic position offers an opportunity to leverage your sales skills and industry knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and increase market share.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve specific sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and establish contact with potential and existing clients in the building materials sector.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends and opportunities in the industry.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients to showcase product value.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure high-quality customer service and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote company products and network.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, client feedback, and market movements for management review.
  • Provide clients with guidance on product choices and usage based on their specific needs.
  • Continuously update knowledge on product innovations and developments in the building materials field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the building materials industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and responsibilities without compromising on quality.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
