Overview Of The Role:

  • The Commercial Vehicles Sales Representative for the HINO Trucks Division is responsible for driving revenue growth through active customer engagement and strategic sales management within the commercial trucks sector. The role demands the consistent achievement of sales targets, and a focus on maximizing profit margins while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and relationship management. This position involves both independent work and collaboration within a team, often requiring robust negotiation skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to high-pressure environments. Success will be measured through sales benchmarks, customer retention rates, and contributions to team efforts.

What You Will Do:

Sales Management

  • Achieve/exceed monthly and annual sales targets while focusing on net sales and gross margin earnings.
  • Utilize discounts strategically to close deals and maximize profitability.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction for all clients.
  • Provide sales management information by completing regular reports.
  • Ensure monthly overdues do not exceed the agreed target.

Customer Engagement

  • Actively seek out and engage prospective customers and manage assigned accounts within the designated territory.
  • Conduct regular customer and field visits to assess business requirements and maintain healthy relationships.
  • Qualify customers by understanding their requirements and interests, matching them to various truck models.
  • Demonstrate trucks by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features, offering test drives, and explaining warranties and services.
  • Write sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with established business policies.

Training and Meetings

  • Attend all sales meetings and modular training sessions.
  • Participate in refresher courses that introduce new products.
  • Inform the Sales Manager / Branch Manager if additional training is required.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid time management and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to solving complex problems with keen attention to detail.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, preferably within a dealership setting.
  • Mandatory experience in the sale of Light, Medium & Heavy Duty Trucks in the UAE.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • UAE Valid Driving License.
  • Experience with commercial truck sales or truck equipment sales preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and goals.
  • Experience working within the UAE market.
