Job Description

The Sales Administrator position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department and enhancing the overall client experience. This role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who excels in a fast-paced environment. As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, processing orders, managing client records, and facilitating communication between sales and other departments. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient sales department operations.
  • Process sales orders and ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and databases of all sales transactions.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to manage order deliveries.
  • Prepare and compile sales reports and present findings to management.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of sales presentations and meetings.
  • Communicate with clients to address inquiries and handle service requests.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and support in achieving targets.
  • Manage client accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Organize and maintain files and correspondence for easy retrieval and archiving.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication skills both in verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales metrics and data analysis techniques is an advantage.
