Job Description

The role of a Renovation Supervisor is a pivotal position in the field of construction and renovation projects. This role involves overseeing the complete renovation process, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. A Renovation Supervisor coordinates with various stakeholders, including contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers, to ensure that all tasks are completed up to standards and within stipulated timelines. This position requires excellent leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of renovation processes, and a keen eye for detail to manage and evaluate the quality of work. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, communicative, and possess the ability to solve problems as they arise on the job site.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases of renovation projects effectively.
  • Supervise and lead contractors, subcontractors, and construction workers on-site.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed by the team.
  • Inspect work performed to ensure it meets the project's specifications and standards.
  • Communicate with clients and update them regarding project progress regularly.
  • Manage procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery solutions.
  • Resolve emerging problems and emergencies that arise during renovation operations.
  • Keep accurate documentation of all project phases and maintain detailed records.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects and designers to meet the client’s aesthetic goals.
  • Conduct final inspections and manage any necessary touch-ups and corrections.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for future renovation projects to improve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction or renovation supervision roles.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively on project sites.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
