Job Description

As a Renovation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop and implement effective renovation strategies. Your leadership skills will guide a diverse team, helping them to achieve project goals efficiently. You will also be tasked with managing client expectations, troubleshooting on-site issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety and building regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of renovation projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules for renovations.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors and construction teams.
  • Ensure all renovation activities comply with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and budget tracking.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with clients to discuss project progress and milestones.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
  • Handle procurement of materials and supplies required for renovation projects.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members to enhance their project management skills.
  • Address and resolve any on-site issues or stakeholder concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and submit final reports summarizing project outcomes and learnings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction or renovation project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills are essential for this role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in using project management software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
