As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Your role is critical in ensuring that individuals receive the best care possible in various healthcare settings. In this role, you will use your knowledge and expertise to provide direct and individualized care to patients, while also collaborating with a team to enhance the overall patient experience.


Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to diverse patient populations.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician’s prescriptions.
  • Operate medical equipment and maintain a safe, clean environment for patient care.
  • Assess the patient’s response to treatments and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, analyze results, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and document all aspects of care.
  • Advocate for patients’ rights and ensure their privacy and confidentiality.
  • Participate in health education workshops and community outreach programs.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards patients and staff at all times.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with patients and team.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for assessing patient needs.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
