Job Description

A Real Estate Agent is a licensed professional who represents buyers or sellers in real estate transactions. They act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers, helping clients to buy, sell, and rent properties. Real Estate Agents are knowledgeable about the local market and are responsible for assisting clients throughout the buying or selling process. Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct property tours to show available listings.
  • Draft legal documents and contracts for real estate transactions.
  • Prospect for new leads and grow the client database.
  • Negotiate sale prices and conditions on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare Comparative Market Analysis to inform pricing strategies.
  • Guide clients through the mortgage finance process when needed.
  • Stay updated on local zoning laws and property regulations.
  • Market properties efficiently through online and offline channels.
  • Maintain a strong online presence through social media platforms.
  • Build and maintain professional networks to enhance sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid real estate agent’s license in the operating state.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Strong negotiation skills for successful transaction outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with real estate software systems and technology.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or real estate is beneficial.
  • In-depth understanding of the local real estate market trends.
