Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting, and financial aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost control, contract administration, and procurement, ensuring projects are completed within budget and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Conduct material quantity take-offs and cost analysis to optimize expenditures.
• Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports to management.
• Assess variations, claims, and contract amendments to ensure fair pricing.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on procurement strategies, risk management, and value engineering.
• Conduct post-project cost evaluations and reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or contract administration.
• Proficiency in costing software such as AutoCAD, Revit, CostX, or Primavera.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of local building regulations and construction standards.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience in infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
