Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchase Coordinator with experience to manage procurement and purchasing activities for construction and real estate projects. The role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting the procurement process to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Purchase Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for projects.
  • Communicate with suppliers, request quotations, and follow up on orders.
  • Verify purchase orders, delivery schedules, and invoices for accuracy.
  • Maintain records of purchases, suppliers, and inventory as required.
  • Assist in sourcing new vendors and negotiating terms and pricing.
  • Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks to support the procurement and operations teams as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in business, supply chain, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer usage, including MS Office; familiarity with ERP or procurement software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • UAE experience preferred.
