We are seeking an experienced and skilled Public Relations Officer with proficiency in Arabic to join our dynamic team for a specialized role coded as 18M26. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public relations strategies and strong interpersonal skills to help foster and manage our organization's image and communication efforts. This position requires a professional who is adept at engaging with media and managing communications both internally and externally, with a special emphasis on Arabic-speaking audiences. As a vital part of the team, you will develop strategic communication plans, manage public relations campaigns, and maintain collaboration with colleagues to ensure consistency in messaging. The ability to analyze public relations efforts and report on their effectiveness is crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public relations strategies tailored for Arabic-speaking audiences.
  • Coordinate and manage media inquiries and interview requests in Arabic and English.
  • Prepare and distribute press releases in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding efforts.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare comprehensive reports for team leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets in the Arab region.
  • Organize and manage press conferences and events targeting Arabic-speaking stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal teams to develop content that aligns with public relations goals.
  • Analyze and report on the success of PR campaigns and initiatives in Arabic markets.
  • Manage crisis communications and establish mitigation strategies for potential issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize communications strategies.
  • Prepare and approve speeches, and talking points for senior executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar PR role.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both oral and written, is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of media relations and communication strategies in Arabic contexts.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing crisis communication situations effectively.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
