Job Description

The Public Relations Officer - Arabic plays a critical role in enhancing and maintaining the public image of the organization within Arabic-speaking communities. The individual in this position is responsible for crafting compelling communications in Arabic, developing strategies to boost the company's visibility and reputation, and managing media inquiries and events. They serve as a bridge between the organization and its diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and culturally relevant messaging. This role demands a deep understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders to facilitate positive relations and promote organizational interests in the Arabic-speaking market. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English and possess experience in public relations or a related field.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies for Arabic-speaking audiences.
  • Craft press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials in Arabic.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests from Arabic media outlets.
  • Monitor and analyze public opinions and media coverage in Arabic regions.
  • Organize press conferences, interviews, and other public relation events targeting Arabic audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure a unified brand message in Arabic campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with influencers and media personnel in Arabic markets.
  • Prepare and manage crisis communication strategies with sensitivity to cultural contexts.
  • Ensure consistency in the organization's messaging across all Arabic communications.
  • Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to senior management regarding communication efforts.
  • Track and report the impact of communication efforts on target Arabic-speaking audiences.
  • Assist in the creation of culturally appropriate content for digital and social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar role.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
  • Strong understanding of Arabic media landscape and cultural contexts.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
  • High degree of professionalism with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
