You will be closely involved in all phases of the project, from initial estimates to final accounting, working alongside other project managers and engineers. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects and proposed changes.
• Conduct regular financial reviews and risk analysis for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment of budgetary constraints with project goals.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasting future financial performance.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of services and materials.
• Monitor the implementation of contracted quality standards throughout the project life cycle.
• Provide accurate project performance reports and financial updates to senior management.
• Utilize computer-based software for efficient Quantity Surveying, cost control, and management tasks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal standards related to construction projects.
• Participate in project meetings, providing insights related to costing and budget adjustments.
• Identify potential financial risks associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Support the preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of bids from contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using cost management and Quantity Surveying software tools.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong focus on detail-oriented tasks.
• Robust negotiation skills and experience dealing with contractors and suppliers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear financial reports.
• Knowledge of construction laws, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
