Job Description

As a Procurement Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's supply chain management by overseeing and managing the procurement processes. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can work effectively across various departments to ensure that all company needs are met in a cost-effective and timely manner. You will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchases.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely supply delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and manage supply levels.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data for analysis.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
  • Analyze procurement processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Create and manage purchase orders and ensure accurate purchase requisitions.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide detailed reports and data analysis to management to support decision-making.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging supply chain strategies to drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a procurement or supply chain management role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a successful track record of closed deals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
