Job Description

We are seeking talented and motivated UAE National Process Engineers to join our Engineering and Projects team. This opportunity is open to fresh graduates and experienced professionals with up to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The role would be based in Sharjah, UAE. This recruitment activity supports the organizations Emiratization objectives and commitment to hiring UAE Nationals.

Responsibilities

For Graduate and Junior Engineers (0-3 Years)

Assist in the development of process engineering deliverables for oil and gas projects.

Support the preparation and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and process calculations.

Perform basic process simulations and engineering calculations under supervision.

Assist in preparing equipment datasheets and process design documentation.

Participate in HAZOP, design review, and risk assessment workshops.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Operations teams.

Support commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.

Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with company HSE and quality requirements.

For Mid-Level and Senior Engineers (4-10 Years)

Develop and review process engineering deliverables for FEED and Detailed Engineering projects.

Perform process design calculations including material and energy balances.

Prepare and review: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Equipment Datasheets, Process Design Basis, Utility Consumption Calculations, Relief and Flare System Calculations, Cause & Effect Matrices

Conduct process simulation studies using industry-standard software.

Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and Design Review workshops.

Support sizing and selection of process equipment, including vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and control valves.

Interface with clients, licensors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, start-up, and operational phases.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, energy efficiency, and plant performance improvements.

Mentor and support junior engineers.

Qualifications

Fresh Graduates (0-3 Years)

Bachelors degree in chemical engineering

Internship or project experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or EPC industries is an advantage.

Experienced Candidates (4-10 Years)

Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.

3-10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Refining, Offshore, Energy, or EPC projects.

Experience in FEED, Detailed Design, Brownfield, Greenfield, EPC is preferred.
