Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathologist to join our esteemed team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for diagnosing diseases through meticulous examination of laboratory specimens, including tissues and body fluids. Your expertise will play a vital part in patient care, influencing treatment options and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory specimens using histological and cytological techniques to identify disease states
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive pathology reports, summarizing findings for the medical team
• Collaborate effectively with other medical professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient management strategies
• Stay updated on advancements in pathology and participate in continuing education activities
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and quality assurance protocols
• Mentor and support junior staff and medical students in the field of pathology
  
  

• MD or DO degree with specialization in Pathology and Board Certification
• Current and valid medical license for practice in the state
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical pathology
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
