Operator - Forklift 13N25

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to move materials around our facility. You will be tasked with loading and unloading trucks, storing products, and supplying production lines with needed materials. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload products from trucks and vans accurately and quickly.
• Move materials strategically around the facility to optimize storage space.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
• Document and update records of inventory movements in the warehouse system.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety rules to minimize risks of accidents.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet team goals and targets.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new safety measures and protocols.
• Inspect incoming products for damage and discrepancies before stocking.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
• Perform manual picking, packing, and labeling of items when needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is necessary for this role.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Possess a valid forklift certification recognized by local industry standards.
• Proficient in understanding warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Good physical condition with the capability to lift heavy materials consistently.
