Job Description

An Occupational Therapist is a healthcare professional who specializes in treating injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They aid patients in developing, recovering, improving, and maintaining the necessary skills for daily life and work. The role involves evaluating a patient’s condition, designing patient-specific treatment plans, and providing therapy to help patients perform everyday tasks more independently. Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize therapy environments to motivate and engage patients effectively.

Requirements

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist is mandatory.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations across various age groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for patient interactions.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation strategies.
  • Proficiency in maintaining detailed and organized patient treatment records.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with technological advances.
