Responsibilities

• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Advise on adaptive equipment and assistive technology to aid recovery.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote occupational therapy awareness.
• Stay current with developments in occupational therapy practices and techniques.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior therapists and interns when required.
• Ensure all therapeutic activities adhere to occupational therapy ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with diverse patient populations.
• Strong ability to identify patient needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with patients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and relevant medical software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation.
