As a Mechanical Draughtsman, you will play a vital role in the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Your primary responsibility will be to convert concepts into detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and construction purposes. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet customers’ specifications and adhere to industry standards. Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools, you will draft detailed diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Precision, accuracy, and attention to detail are paramount as you will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the mechanical design is clearly and accurately laid out, facilitating smooth production and assembly processes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or a similar tool.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in mechanical drafting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into drawings.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and handle tight deadlines effectively.
