Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical drawings according to technical guidelines and specifications.

• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or reduce production problems.
• Prepare and submit complete drawings to project leaders within specified deadlines.
• Regularly update project documents to reflect modifications in mechanical designs.
• Maintain an organized archive of drawings for easy access and retrieval.
• Participate in project meetings to provide input on design-related issues.
• Assist in the development of new mechanical design methods and techniques.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior draughtsman and drafters.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• At least three years of experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman in a related industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to visualize three-dimensional objects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and practices for mechanical design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines efficiently.
