Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, ducting, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems using Autodesk Revit.
Prepare coordinated mechanical BIM models, shop drawings, sections, elevations, and installation drawings.
Coordinate mechanical models with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other building services disciplines.
Perform clash detection and resolve model coordination issues using Autodesk Navisworks.
Ensure BIM models and drawings comply with approved design drawings, project specifications, and BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements.
Update models based on design revisions, site changes, and consultant comments.
Extract quantities, schedules, and material information from BIM models when required.
Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, engineers, draftsmen, and project teams to meet project deadlines.
Maintain model accuracy, drawing quality, naming conventions, and revision control.
Support the preparation of as-built BIM models and final project documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 4–6 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region.

Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.

Good knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, and mechanical services coordination.

Experience in clash detection, BIM coordination, and shop drawing preparation.

Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BIM Execution Plans.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications.

Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Immediate joiners are preferred.
